The support of the business community and private individuals who attend social and sporting events are the lifeblood of any charity.Thanks to the hard work of Richard Evans, Director of Cardiff Institute for the Blind for nearly forty years, CIB and CVV can count on the loyal support from the world of commerce which raises many thousands of pounds every year for CIB.

Nick Thomas, our very own Olympic torch bearer, enjoyed a memorable time attending the Brazil v Egypt Olympic football match at the Millennium Stadium.

Our annual CVV fundraising ball will take place at the Cardiff Park Plaza Hotel on the 18th May 2012 from 7.30pm - 1.00am.

Hot on the heals of our first charity record, ‘What Colour is the Wind’ by Mike Doyle, which has so far raised £10,500 for CVV, is another great track!....

Our warm thanks go to members of two golf clubs for supporting CVV. Each held a charity golf day....
CVV staff member Spiro Sueref has raised over £500 so far this year with his self-produced amusing musical quizzes....
