Artful twins storm to success!

Two CVV members, twins Paul and Steve Vye-Parminter have found success doing what they love best in the world of art.  The duo, who have played lead roles in our Art and Music Clubs, were featured in Wales on Sunday with their incredible handmade Star Wars style suits.

Steve, who has just graduated in Fine Art from UWIC, and Paul both have Retinitis Pigmentosa, but it has not stopped them re-creating the suits made famous in the George Lucas films.

When Steve and Paul wear them, people are amazed the artistic brothers have sight loss.

Steve said: “They can’t believe it. They are like: ‘No way’; if we can do it, anybody can do it. Anybody can do art when they put their mind to it.” Paul said: “The attention is amazing. Lots of people come up and want photos.
