Love blossoms for Penny and Gordon

11 Penny wedding 2

We are happy to report that CVV’s busy social scene has resulted in romance and marriage for a happy couple.

When Penny Caston, who is registered blind, went on a Thrive gardening weekend, organised by CVV’s Teresa and Spiro Sueref, she met gardening tutor Gordon McVittie and love blossomed!

Seven years on, this July they got married at St Donats Church and fittingly, their wedding had a floral theme.

Today Gordon is a horticultural therapist and Penny has worked on a number of blind garden projects at flower shows including Hampton Court.  We wish them well.
